Welcome to the website for Rowan House, in the Lower Wensleydale village of Hackforth.

Rowan House offers stylish, modern accommodation in a traditional village setting.  Sleeping seven to eight guests in comfort, the ground floor comprises entrance hall, formal sitting room (with open fire, games chest and piano); a large family / dining room; a beautiful kitchen, with two oven AGA, oak units and hardwood counter tops, a games room with TV, DVD player and games console, and, of course, a boot room for all your outdoor clothes.

Upstairs are four bedrooms: a king size bed is in the master bedroom (with en suite shower room), there is also a double room, a twin room, and a single / twin room for the seventh and eighth members of your group.  A family bathroom (upstairs) and a further shower room (downstairs) are provided.

Outside, guests benefit from parking for three cars, a pleasant front garden (with views over the village), and a private, South facing back garden, with uninterrupted views, and not one, but two patios to relax and unwind on.  a pedestrian gate leads through to three acres of grassed paddocks.

Hackforth is well placed to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales, but the Yorkshire Moors, coast, and  Lake District are all within easy reach, as is the spa town of Harrogate, and cathedral cities of York and Durham
